The Process
Priming - Stage 3   Priming is a preparatory coat used with many materials before finish-coat painting commences. Primer ensures better paint adhesion to a surface. The primer stage may be performed several times. Fine rubbing paper is used to 'key' and ensure a smooth 'pit free' surface is achieved. Upon completion finish paint is applied at stage four - “Finishing”.
